AUTO LIABILITY
AUTO LIABILITY
Auto Liability coverage is a legal requirement for trucking companies and is designed to protect you when your vehicle is involved in an accident for which you are responsible. It helps cover damages or injuries sustained by other parties, including medical expenses, property damage, vehicle repairs, and legal costs arising from a covered accident.
For many interstate motor carriers, the federal minimum required limit is $750,000 Combined Single Limit (CSL). However, freight brokers, shippers, and other business partners commonly require $1,000,000 in Auto Liability coverage, making it the standard limit for many trucking operations.
WHY DO YOU NEED IT?
First and foremost, it’s required by law.
Even if you are the safest driver on the road, accidents can happen, as you share the road with other drivers. Without adequate Liability coverage, a single accident could put your business, assets, and financial future at significant risk.
